The OB Hospitalist Program is a collaborative effort between Obstetrix Medical Group of California and Good Samaritan Hospital. Our hospitalists are on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide coverage at your request. Additionally, in the event of an emergency, we have the ability to assess and treat a patient requiring immediate care. Our OB Hospitalist Program is another initiative to enhance quality of care and to build the Women’s Center of Excellence at Good Samaritan Hospital. 

Our hospitalists practice only in the hospital setting and not privately in the community.  Our OB hospitalists are supported by our maternal-fetal medicine specialists, who act in a supervisory role, and oversee  practice management and protocols. We strive to provide pregnant women and their fetuses with high quality care through evidence-based medicine and a commitment to safety.
